Former Warehouse Client Brings Donation Full-Circle

by Desmond Fuller, Social Media Coordinator

One sunny Friday morning,  Joseph stopped by to donate a futon that he once received from Community Warehouse.

Joseph, a veteran, was referred to Community Warehouse through Transition Projects. He explained to our Program Director that he has a job now, and was able to replace his futon with a couch. He looks forward to donating more furniture down the road!

Joseph’s journey from client to donor illustrates how the Community Warehouse mission can play a key role in transforming the lives of our community members and creating a cycle of empathy. Joseph remembered the value of having a comfortable place to rest while he was getting back on his feet and expressed how good it made him feel to know that by donating to Community Warehouse, he could be a part of making that transformation happen for someone else.

It’s amazing how much work can be accomplished by so few when the hearts are dedicated. You guys are the real deal.
