Now through December 31, 2022: We’re offering a special donation pickup rate of $40 for all donatoins that include one or more mattresses. Mattresses must be dry and in good condition: no rips, tears, stains, smells, or pet hair. Applies to Regular Pickups only.

General Donation Guidelines

  • Quality, gently-used and new items accepted
  • Items must be safe, clean, and functional
  • Items must be in ready-to-use condition, with all parts assembled
  • Upholstered items and mattresses must be free of stains, tears and pet hair/odors
  • Items must be from a non-smoking household
  • Kitchen items must be clean and functional

    Priority Pickup

    We offer Priority Pickup through our partners at ReSupply. 

    Priority Pickup Guidelines

    • Pickups within 48 hours.
    • Variable pickup fee calculated upon scheduling based on quantity and type of items.
    • Any and all items accepted! All eligible items are donated while remaining items are ethically disposed of.
    • Item retrieval from anywhere including within residence or a storage unit.
    • Disassembly of items that need it (except doors, cabinets, or lighting).
    • Fee reflects the operating costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee. (fee is not tax deductible)

    Regular Pickup

    We offer Regular Pickup directly through Community Warehouse. 

    Regular Pickup Guidelines:

    • Pickups are scheduled roughly one week in advance.
    • $80 flat pickup fee; payable by cash, check, or card. This fee helps cover the cost of staff wages and truck maintenance costs.
    • We can only accept items that match our Donation Guidelines
    • All items must be ground level, accessible by five steps or fewer. Donations on upper floors must be elevator accessible. Items left outdoors must be in a clean and dry location.
    • All kitchenware and linens must be washed and boxed or bagged.
    • All items are inspected at our drivers’ discretion; they are well trained in what we accept for donations!

    We welcome donations from your business to help us create more comfortable, functional homes for neighbors in need of essential home furnishings.

    We had been struggling for awhile to convince our mother to let go of her long-accumulated furniture and belongings. The idea of giving mom’s furniture to Community Warehouse, where it could do such good for local families, was really helpful for her in the letting go process.
