2008 Event

Congratulations to the 2008 Chair Affair artists, sponsors and committee. This year's event raised $80,000 for the Community Warehouse. Our delightfully fun party brought together the arts community, businesses, and citizens for a live and silent auction. Once again more than 60 local artists transformed ordinary chairs from the Community Warehouse's donated inventory into unique works of art! The (re)created chairs were featured at the Art Institute's gallery show in April, kicked off with a 1st Thursday reception with the artists. Chairs were also featured in Mario's downtown window display.
