You can drop off these items at the Warehouse in 

Portland (3969 NE MLK Jr Blvd) or Tualatin (8380 SW Nyberg St) 

between 10 am-4 pm on weekdays.

Donations Accepted:

  • Kitchen Tables and Chairs
  • Dishware (plates, bowls, cups, and silverware – no china or metal-rimmed dishware)
  • Cookware (pots, pans, cooking utensils)
  • Small appliances (microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, etc.)
  • Armchairs
  • Coffee Tables
  • Sofas (no sleeper sofas, sectionals, or recliners)
  • Hollywood Bedframes
  • Nightstands
  • Towels and Bed Linens (must be washed before donating)
  • Mattresses and Box Springs (not King size)
  • Dressers

If you have other furniture or household items to donate, please hold onto them until Community Warehouse is ready to accept other donations.

– Quality, gently used and new items accepted

– Items must be in ready-to-use condition, with all parts assembled
– Upholstered items and mattresses must be free of stains, tears and pet hair/odors
– Items must be from a non-smoking household
– Kitchen items must be clean and functional

We connect your donations directly to families and individuals in need and require that all donations are in good, clean, ready-to-use condition. We are helping people get back on their feet and restoring self-worth and dignity is a huge part of this process. Please help us provide wonderful, quality items to those who need them most. Not all donations fit what we can provide our clients. To schedule a pickup, please submit the online form below.

Health Alert 3/12/20 – In accordance with guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority, we are temporarily suspending pick-up services from nursing, assisted living and residential care facilities, including those providing memory care. Additionally, we will be asking a health screening question for all donation pick-ups to safeguard staff and donors. If you or someone in your household is quarantined due to risk of exposure to COVID-19, please postpone scheduling a pick-up with us.

Due to demand, our pickup service is currently being booked out 1-2 weeks depending on the zipcode of your residence.

We had been struggling for awhile to convince our mother to let go of her long-accumulated furniture and belongings. The idea of giving mom’s furniture to Community Warehouse, where it could do such good for local families, was really helpful for her in the letting go process.
