- Quality, gently-used and new items accepted
- Items must be safe, clean, and functional
- Items must be in ready-to-use condition, with all parts assembled
- Upholstered items and mattresses must be free of stains, tears and pet hair/odors
- Items must be from a non-smoking household

Residential Donation Pickup Service
Priority Pickup
We offer Priority Pickup through our partners at ReSupply. To schedule a priority pickup, click the “Donation Pickup” button at the bottom right of the page.
Priority Pickup Guidelines
- Pickups within 48 hours.
- Any and all items accepted! All eligible items are donated while remaining items are ethically disposed of.
- Item retrieval from anywhere including within residence or a storage unit.
- Disassembly of items that need it (except doors, cabinets, or lighting).
- Fee reflects the operating costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company or junk hauler fee. (fee is not tax deductible)
Regular Pickup
We have resumed our Residential Donation Pick-Up service. Our base fee for each appointment is $80.

Please send your zip code, a short description of your items, and photos of your items.
Regular Pickup Guidelines:
- $80 flat pickup fee; payable by cash, check, or card. This fee helps cover the cost of staff wages and truck maintenance costs.
- All donations must be placed in the first room of the residence, garage, driveway, or parking space. Items left outdoors must be in a clean and dry location.
- Face masks must be worn during the pickup.
- All items must be on a ground floor, accessible by five steps or fewer. Donations on upper floors must be elevator accessible.
- All dishware and kitchenware must be washed and boxed or bagged before donating
- All items are inspected at our drivers’ discretion; they are well trained in what we accept for donation!

We had been struggling for awhile to convince our mother to let go of her long-accumulated furniture and belongings. The idea of giving mom’s furniture to Community Warehouse, where it could do such good for local families, was really helpful for her in the letting go process.
