Open (Ware)House Third Thursday Tour
Join us at 12pm at the Portland Warehouse on the Third Thursday of every month for an Open (Ware)House tour.
All are welcome and the event is free to attend. Whether you’re a longtime supporter wanting to learn more about the impact of your contributions, or a newcomer to the concept of a furniture bank, this event is for YOU. We encourage you to bring a friend or colleague too!
Meet at the entrance in the parking lot on NE MLK Jr. Blvd at noon. The tour will last about 30 minutes and we encourage you ask questions, mingle, and chat with us after.
Don’t forget to pop into the Estate Store after the tour for the monthly Third Thursday Sale!

Chair Affair
A house becomes a home when you have a table for meals, a bed to tuck your kids into, and a chair to relax in at the end of a long day. Each spring, we host Chair Affair, an evening of celebration and raising support for the work we do as this region’s only full-service furniture bank. We hear inspiring stories from people whose empty houses have been transformed into comfy homes and raise critical funds to provide essential home furnishings to more neighbors every year.
2018 Chair Affair Children’s Chairs- A Sneak Peek!
Every year, Chair Affair guests look forward to seeing the outstanding works of art and transformed furnishings created by renowned local artists for the latest series of artistic children’s chairs.
Bringing the Comforts of Home to New Affordable Housing Community with BedMart
The brand new Hill Park Apartment building seemed to glow in the afternoon sun as the Bedmart and Community Warehouse delivery trucks pulled into the parking lot.
It’s amazing how much work can be accomplished by so few when the hearts are dedicated. You guys are the real deal.
