Life is better when a house is a home.
Home is at the center of every person’s well-being and livelihood. We believe there are enough beds, blankets, pots and pans, and furnishings circulating in our community for everyone.
You’ve likely heard of a food bank?
Our furniture bank mission is similar, except we focus on household goods and furnishings.
We connect donated household goods and furnishings to our neighbors in need, creating stronger home foundations and brighter futures.
So Many Ways to Give!
Community Warehouse and KOIN 6 are teaming up this Spring, inviting you to donate gently-used household items and furnishings to neighbors in need! Whether you’re spring cleaning, downsizing, redecorating, looking for an alternative to having a garage sale, or in the market for something special for your home – you can change someone’s life without changing a thing. Community Warehouse puts your used goods to good use!
Our Impact in the Community
In 2019, we conducted a comprehensive investigation of the impact that our service model has for people who’ve received furniture from us. The results are exciting and provide us with both a proof of concept and a mandate for the future.
Our donors provide sustaining support for local families. Any donation, large or small, goes straight to our mission – and builds the foundation for healthy, happy homes.
That couch you’ve thought about replacing? Yeah, that could change a life. Put your used goods to good use. Learn what, where, and when you can donate.
Shop our Estate Store, filled with unique furniture you won’t find at any old department store. All proceeds go directly to support the Community Warehouse mission.

COMMUNITY WAREHOUSE AND SPREETAIL PARTNER TO PROVIDE MATTRESSES TO FAMILIES MOVING OUT OF HOMELESSNESS
Community Warehouse Furnishing Forward partner, Spreetail, is launching New Beginnings, a collaborative program to provide mattresses and home essentials to families in Portland transitioning from an experience with homelessness.
My experience was a great one. The Warehouse helped me and my daughter get our lives back on track. We had lost so much and they helped us get some of it back. We can’t thank them enough for the things they gave us to start over with.
