Volunteer

Community Warehouse relies on volunteers to help us serve over 60 families each week. There is always something to be done here and we can use your help anytime Monday-Saturday from 10-4. Please contact Kristy@CommunityWarehouse.org for more information about volunteering, or call (503) 224-0711.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Help redistribute donated items to other local non-profits
  • Sort incoming linens and prepare them for families
  • Pack/Unpack small household items for families
  • Test small electrical items to determine proper functioning
  • Clean upholstery of sofas and armchairs
  • Answer the telephone
  • Organize and tidy the Warehouse shelves
  • Pass out information about the Warehouse to local businesses
  • Host a towel drive or a collect kitchen items (great for civic or youth groups in need of a project)
  • Assist in the Store at the Community Warehouse (Saturdays)
