Wendy Steinberg

"NEEDS SEEDS"

Wendy has seen herself as an artist since childhood. She grew up in the wide-open spaces of Arizona, and her love of exhibiting her artwork emerged in the dry dusty fields using the bare ground as a canvas. Wendy’s first subjects were horses – large animals that could be seen by passing crop dusters! Later she worked as a graphic artist designing for the commercial world.

Today Wendy is retired but continues to explore the many creative options available through art including wood, clay, metals, found objects, glass and textiles. Currently oil painting is the key to expressing her thoughts, dreams, feelings and loves. Wendy enjoys introducing people of all ages to the world of art – and encourages her students to discover their own artist voice.
