"TIM BURTON TOOK MY SHOE"
Valerie holds a B. Architecture degree which has come in very handy over the years for work and constructing things. When not doing outreach and technical assistance for the Regional Green Building Hotline and the City of Portland Green Building Program, Valerie can be found rummaging around salvage yards, digging in the garden, practicing competitive cat herding and traveling. Artwork includes mosaic pieces, found object assemblage, jewelry, wire sculpture, wood and collage. Her artwork has been shown in group exhibits at AIA Portland, Portland Childrens’ Museum and Lawndale Art Center, Houston. She loves Community Warehouse and wishes the CHAIR AFFAIR + auction much success.
