Tracy Wolf-Paquin

"CLASSY GLASS"

Tracy Wolf Paquin is a practicing Young Audience resident artist in the Portland and Beaverton school districts. She participated in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Seminar, speaking to Artist as Educators: Planning Effective Residencies for Students. In this seminar she designed, developed and piloted an arts-integrated experience for young people in fused glass as a means of a scientific journey. Tracy helps students design and create large-scale glass murals that are installed in numerous schools.

During the past 10 years Tracy has provided continuous assistance to teachers who are trained at the Leonard Bernstein Center for Artful learning. She facilitates the creative parts of the Artful Learning?model. Her fused glass pieces are currently being shown at the Halualoa gallery in Hawaii. She also provides private instruction to adults and children in her Portland studio. Tracy has a B.A. in Arts and Architecture, University of Oregon, with an emphasis in Cultural Services and Arts Administration.
