Penny Kavan studied printed textile design many years ago in Northern Ireland and was employed after graduation by Tootal Fabrics in Manchester, England. Over the years, she has enjoyed working in a variety of media including monoprinting, charcoal drawing, acrylic painting and handpainted silk pieces.
Penny has shown her work in solo and group shows and, as an art teacher, encourages students’ creativity through her own enthusiasm.
