Nikki Tracy

"BERGERE DELICIOSA"

For Nikki Tracy art was in her future. Growing up in the 1960′s, she developed an appreciation of the beauty around her, but an under-appreciation of time management. After earning a BFA at UC Davis, Nikki worked as an artist at the Sacramento Bee Newspaper, then as a corporate Art Designer. Then, as so many of us did, she diverted her attentions to raising her family.

Once her children were in middle school, Nikki opened a studio behind her home and spent the next 12 years as a private art instructor. These days, Nikki concentrates on her own painting and drawing, relying heavily on trial and error (much easier once you accept “error” as a friend). Nikki is happy to be contributing art for the third year to the CHAIR AFFAIR+. “I need deadlines and the Community Warehouse needs money, so it is a perfect marriage.”
