Lynzee Dava Lynx is a multi-media artist who specializes in textiles and wearable arts. A New Yorker by birth, raised in Portland since age 5, the ethos of the city inform her eco-centric, community minded creativity.
She has been an art teacher to children in schools and hospitals, and has had a small business making & selling everything from paintings to jewelry to clothing. Creative re-use of materials is a continuing theme in her work.
Solomon, her 2-year old son, is her main source of inspiration at the moment, making whales and sharks out of old things…who knew? She works also at her family business ‘Dava Bead & Trade’ in NE Portland where teaching classes and helping people through the creative process are her specialties.
