"ENJOY SPRING"
Kathy Brock has been an artist since grade school, where she was tapped by her elementary teachers to decorate class bulletin boards with seasonal collages. She has continued to work in mixed media, combining collage ephemera, drawing, acrylic, and textiles.
Her work has been included in several gallery exhibits, starting in the mid-1970’s through the present, in San Francisco, Santa Fe, and Portland. Most recently Kathy has shown a collection of original work at Flutter, Cargo, and Idom (all in Portland.)
Kathy’s background includes several years as a textile designer for apparel companies. Currently, she imports vintage, handmade textiles, kilims, and jewelry from Turkey and Uzbekistan, supplying galleries and collectors with unusual items.
