Julie Blackman’s work focuses on landscape interpretation, working primarily in oil. Her 2011 entry is the first chair she has submitted for the CHAIR AFFAIR+.
Hailing originally from St. Louis, MO, Julie has lived in Portland since 1977. She holds a BFA in painting from the University of Wisconsin. She has exhibited her paintings throughout Oregon.
