Jennifer Kenworth studied at California College of the Arts in Oakland, California, where she earned her degree in Ceramic Sculpture. Soon after college, Jennifer landed in Portland, where she continued to create her life-size figurative sculptures.
During an art residency in Nevada, Jennifer was introduced to black velvet painting. Upon returning to Portland, she added Pop culture kitsch paintings on velvet to her reperatoire. Jennifer has shown both her sculptures and velvet paintings in galleries, cafes and at various art events around Portland. She enjoys being a part of the Chair Affair and sees it as a fun way to use both her painting and sculpture skills.
