Cindy McDougall’s “ah-ha” artistic moment began when she designed and produced costumes for a production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” while earning her BFA in Utah. From then on, music and theater has continued to play a big part in the inspiration of all her work.
Cindy’s most recent endeavor celebrates family history in unusual artistic ways, producing a line of ready-made and custom order pillows crafted in her Oak Grove studio. Using antique and vintage photographs transferred to fabric, she layers the result among specialty textiles, trims, buttons and whatnots to create a one-of-a-kind piece of very personal, original art.
