Amy Estrin

"HAPPY CHAIR"

Amy Estrin graduated from The Museum Art School (currently called PNCA) in 1982. She showed extensively, but the highlights were her shows at Elizabeth Leach Gallery and Jamison/Thomas Gallery. Amy opened The Whole 9 Yards, an interior fabric store, with her husband Jamie Eoff in 1991. Amy views her store as a visual work in progress, housing an endless supply of visual information, color, and design work to keep her painter’s brain happy.

Amy has been combining multiple fabrics on one chair, to create “Amy Chairs” since she opened the store in ’91. Treated like 3 dimensional paintings, they are commissioned by customers.
